Jarron, who joined the staff in February 2014, is a Middle Tennessee native. He attended Battle Ground Academy and has a degree in Communications & Public Relations from the University of Alabama. He received his JD from the Nashville School of Law. He holds the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation, the highest designation in the association industry provided by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) as well as the Realtor Certified Executive (RCE), the only professional designation designed specifically for Realtor association executives by NAR.
Jarron is married to Jennie Rebecca. He is the youngest of three boys and is also a father of four boys, Battle, Hayes, Gray and Hyde.
When he's not running the association, you'll find him running long distances on trails and roads. He has completed over 35 full and ultra-marathons. He also enjoys spending time in Percy Warner Park and snow skiing. Most of all he savors spending time with his boys and watching them grow up.
Superpower He'd Like to Have: Empathy
"I along with many others in this world strive to fully comprehend the moods and emotions of others so we can help and support. Some are better than others at empathy, but I’m not sure it is humanly possible to be fully empathetic. It’s a superpower and one I wish I had."
Jarron actually expresses empathy regularly in his role as CEO as he works alongside the board and members to best understand how the association can best serve them.
“If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.”
“Be where you’re supposed to be, doing what you’re supposed to be doing.”
