NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 26, 2024) – Mark Deutschmann, founder of The CityLiving Group, has been named the 2023 Realtor of the Year by Greater Nashville Realtors, as announced by association President Kevin Wilson.
The Realtor of the Year award is presented annually to the association’s Realtor member who has made the most significant contribution to their clients, the real estate profession and the community. Deutschmann was recognized for his unwavering dedication to professionalism, client satisfaction, and advancing the real estate industry. The award presentation took place at the association’s annual Awards of Excellence Gala on Saturday, February 24, 2024, where Kristy Hairston, the 2022 recipient, had the honor of presenting Deutschmann with the award.
“Mark exemplifies the mission of Greater Nashville Realtors,” said Kevin Wilson, Greater Nashville Realtors president. “He has been instrumental in the transformation of Nashville and paving the way for what the city is today.”
Deutschmann's impactful contributions extend beyond the confines of traditional real estate transactions. His advocacy for the development of Nashville's greenways and his visionary approach to the city's future have positioned him as a key influencer in the revitalization of Nashville neighborhoods.
In addition to recognizing Mark Deutschmann's outstanding achievements, Greater Nashville Realtors presented Liz Zipperer with Parks, the Good Neighbor Award for her exceptional commitment to community service and philanthropy.
Zipperer's longstanding advocacy for eliminating racism and empowering women is evident through her dedicated service to YWCA Re-New, a program that supports domestic violence survivors by providing furnished homes for a fresh start. President Wilson praised Zipperer, stating, “Liz's enduring commitment to YWCA reflects her profound understanding of the significance of safe living spaces in empowering individuals and making a positive impact on their lives.”
The Awards of Excellence Gala also honored recipients of various special awards:

Additionally, over 340 members of Greater Nashville Realtors received Awards of Excellence based on their outstanding professional achievements in sales volume, transactions, and association involvement. Recognitions ranged from the Silver Award, comprising a minimum of $2 million in volume and 15 transactions, to the prestigious Diamond Elite Award, consisting of $40 million or more in volume or a minimum of 150 transactions.
