COVID-19 UPDATE 
Your health and safety are of the utmost importance to us. We are monitoring the spread of COVID-19 (known as the coronavirus) and its impact on our community. As COVID-19 is predominantly spreading through close contact, out of an abundance of caution, we are implementing further precautionary measures in response to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), State of Tennessee and Metro Nashville guidelines to ensure the safety and health of our students, members and staff.

SAFER AT HOME ORDER

Tennessee – Governor Bill Lee

Although real estate services can continue under both the state and local orders, we have an opportunity, and a responsibility, to serve as leaders in our community. It is VERY important that everyone comply with CDC protocols and orders when conducting business during this time. Open houses are not allowed. By practicing social distancing and following Safer At Home orders, we can do our part to take precautions and set a positive example for others around us.

IN-PERSON CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASSES AND EVENTS SUSPENDED THROUGH APRIL 30
All in-person continuing education classes and events through April 30, will be either canceled, postponed or moved to Livestream, when possible, as we evaluate our next steps beyond that date. Class fees will be refunded.

GOVERNOR LEE ISSUES EXECUTIVE ORDER 
Gov. Bill Lee issued an extensive executive order late last week in light of COVID-19. The order includes a temporary extension of license renewals and fulfilling CE requirements from the Dept. of Commerce & Insurance, which consists of the Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC). We are awaiting confirmation of the exact length of the extension, but this will provide much-needed relief to many of our REALTOR® members when it comes to their license. ASSOCIATION MEETINGS MOVE TO ZOOM THROUGH APRIL 30
Any meetings scheduled between March 23 and April 30, will be coordinated by the staff in consultation with the chair to determine the necessity of the meeting, and if necessary, will create a Zoom Meeting for conducting the online meeting. Please direct any questions about your assigned committees to your staff liaison.

Under an abundance of caution to the current COVID-19 situation, our office is currently closed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our staff can assist you with your needs during regular business hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm as they are working remotely. What are my options for taking CE classes to renew my license? 
Our members rely on our classes to further their professional development, as well as ensure the timely renewal of their real estate license. If your license renews in the not-too-distant future, you are encouraged to use our online classroom by clicking here. 

How do I apply for membership and/or make changes to my existing membership and related services? 
Our staff can accommodate all the usual requests via phone at 615-254-7516 and at membership@greaternashvillerealtors.org.

When will you make decisions on classes, meetings and events after April 30?
We are making decisions in response to the most current Centers for Disease Control (CDC), State of Tennessee and Metro Nashville guidelines. We are working on a week by week and often day by day basis for making decisions that are best for our members, students, instructors and staff. At this time, we have made changes and arrangements through April 30, for classes, meetings and events and are now coordinating all those changes for that timeframe.
