Virtual Attendance Policy
  • Virtual Platform: Classes are offered via Zoom. If you have not done so already, sign up for your free account at www.zoom.us.
  • Technology Requirements: You will need a device with a camera, microphone, and internet access to participate in a virtual CE class. Verify the functionality of your audio, video, and internet connectivity prior to class. Class registration fees are not refundable or transferable in the event you have technical issues you encounter with your device, audio/visual, or internet.
  • Name: Both the first and last names you registered with must be displayed when you enter the class. Otherwise, we won't know who you are and cannot give you credit.
  • Recording Permission: All courses are recorded. Registering for a virtual class indicates you agree to be recorded and you agree to adhere to all virtual class policies. Recordings are for Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC) purposes only and are not available to students.
  • Check-in: Virtual class check-in begins 20 minutes before class time. You will not be admitted to class after it begins. Once class begins, do not log out for any reason.
  • TREC Virtual Attendance Requirements: TREC requires 100% attendance. Therefore, you will not be admitted to class after it begins. In addition, TREC requires students to be completely visible on camera AT ALL TIMES to receive CE credit. Please be prepared to be stationary in a well-lit room with your entire face visible for the duration of the class. TREC prohibits the following activities during virtual classes and they could result in removal from class with no refund and loss of CE credit:
    • Driving a vehicle or riding in one
    • Lying in a bed
    • Talking on the phone
    • Computer work not related to the course
    • Excessive movement of camera or student
    • Stepping out of camera view or stopping video transmission
    • Sharing a room with another student (unless previously approved)
  • Breaks: Instructors will provide time for breaks and lunch (if applicable). Any non-course related matters should be handled during these breaks. If an emergency arises, please notify the host via private chat message.

Inclement Weather Policy
  • In the event of inclement weather, an in-person course may be offered virtually. Students will be notified as soon as possible if a class will be held virtually or cancelled/re-scheduled.
