Association bylaws require all REALTORS® to complete a Code of Ethics course AND a Fair Housing course within NAR’s mandated three-year cycle. NAR's current Code of Ethics and Fair Housing cycle began January 1, 2025 and ends on December 31, 2027. Members who do not complete a Code of Ethics class AND a Fair Housing class by December 31, 2027 will be suspended from membership and lose their rights and privileges associated with their membership.

Check Your Code of Ethics and Fair Housing Status
You may check your Code of Ethics and Fair Housing completion status by logging into the member portal. Upon logging into the member portal, you will see Code of Ethics and Fair Housing information listed under your name. This information includes: when the current Code of Ethics and Fair Housing cycle ends; when you last completed a Code of Ethics class and a Fair Housing class; and if you have completed a Code of Ethics class and Fair Housing class within the current cycle. The current Code of Ethics cycle began January 1, 2025 and ends on December 31, 2027.
If you would like to complete a Code of Ethics or Fair Housing class with a course provider other than Greater Nashville REALTORS® or the National Association of REALTORS®, please email the Membership department at membership@greaternashvillerealtors.org beforehand so that we can ensure that the class meets NAR's standards.
